Movie Parental Guide

nudity Toward the beginning of the film, there is a brief scene where sex is strongly implied, but no body parts are shown. Also, toward the beginning, we briefly see Dean's buttocks and the outline of his crotch in his jock strap after coming out of the locker room. There is a fairly intense sexual scene later on in the film with Dean and Jessie, where bare breasts and buttocks are both seen.
violence Throughout the film, there is general violence during the hockey scenes. There is occasionally blood shown, as it is a film about hockey. And there is one scene where we see Dean getting stitches from a blow to the head from a hockey stick.
profanity General R-rated language: several uses of "fuck", "shit", "goddamn", "ass", "asshole", among others.
alcohol There is one scene toward the beginning-middle of the film where Dean and some of his teammates go out drinking and are clearly drunk by the end of the scene. It is all done in a very humorous manner, however.
frightening Some of the hockey scenes might be frightening to younger viewers as it can be quite emotionally intense. After a player on the hockey team hits his head on the ice leading to a cracked skull, he ends up in the hospital. The scene is slightly intense.
