nudity | There are multiple scenes that a man's rear end is shown. Zohan's backside can often be seen while barbequing fish. Made-up words are used to describe womanly parts. There is implied sex multiple times in the back of the beauty salon to where shampoo bottles would fall off the wall. Frequent humping motions. Also, shampoo squirting on women's faces. The film has non-stop sexual humor and references. There is a part when you see Zohan and Michael's mom having sex but you see them thrusting and an object is covering the explicit stuff. Parents should note that there is a HUGE difference between the theatrical and unrated versions of this film; while the theatrical has some explicit stuff, it is at the most a mid-weight PG-13. The unrated, if it had been the theatrical, should easily have pulled a hard R; the sex jokes are just explicit and non-stop. |
violence | A main theme of the movie is that its about an Israeli Agent who fakes his death, and wants to get out of the military due to all of the fighting between Palestine and Israel, which may cause some controversy due to its realistic nature. There's some comic violence towards the beginning but nothing graphic. The theme of the Cab Drivers wanting to become Terrorists may also offend some viewers. Lots and lots of Kung-Fu type action Some explosions and gunplay (no one is killed by guns) Karate is used in much of the action. |
profanity | Definitely standard PG-13 Rated Material which is normal for an Adam Sandler movie. 2 F-words, milder swearing. non-stop sexual comments, dialogue, and jokes involving women |
alcohol | Instead of drinking alcohol, at a bar a character gets Milk. some characters smoke |
frightening | None |
