An entomologist on vacation is trapped by local villagers into living with a woman whose life task is shoveling sand for them.
Jumpei Niki, a Tokyo based entomologist and educator, is in a poor seaside village collecting specimens of sand insects. As it is late in the day and as he has missed the last bus back to the city, some of the local villagers suggest that he spend the night there, they offering to find him a place to stay.
The female lead is shown from the side lying on her back completely naked, her breast is shown but her leg is bent to prevent a view of her genital area. Shortly after she is shown lying on her side, her breasts are covered by her arm.
There are several scenes where it is implied a woman is nude, though no breasts or butt are actually shown.
The two main characters fall down and as they fall the woman's top opens and his hand ends up on her breast. No nudity is shown.
