Events take place in a public bus before the 1967 defeat, when a fight occurs between Gaaber and Marzouk from side and the bus cash collector from the other side. It ends up with Gaaber and Marzouk at the police station. They get arrested in the police station cell, but unfortunately, they were mistakenly detained among other political dissidents. All detainees get deported to a political detention camp, including Gaaber and Marzouk. Ramzy, the detention camp director, accuses them of distributing leaflets calling for the overthrow of the Regime and asks them to sign, they refuse and they get tortured. After the 1967 setback, a state of hopelessness, sadness and despair haunts everybody. A clear transformation begins to happen, sergeant Abdul Mo’ty rages against Ramzy, followed by a protest by Marzouk that lead to a rebel by all detainees. Ramzy orders his officers to open fire on detainees, and Abdul Mo’ty got killed and so Marzouk too.
