nudity Mild sex references, nudity. Bart skateboards nude through a town and his bare buttocks is visible, while his genitals are blocked by different items as he passes; he continues through the town and at one point his penis (in cartoon outline) are shown briefly for comical effect (non-sexual context). Later, when Bart falls off his skateboard, he slowly falls by Krusty Burger and Flanders and his boys are sitting at a table and Flanders says "Ok boys, before we eat, let's not forget to thank the lord for this bountiful..." When Bart falls in slow motion, it shows Flanders holding a French fry placed in between Bart's legs and then Flanders finishes his sentence by saying "penis!" Then his boys say "Bountiful penis! Amen." Homer and Marge stand in a bedroom, Marge's dress is torn up the back by a friendly deer's horns and she is left wearing a short negligee that reveals cleavage and bare legs; Homer is helped out of his clothes by many friendly birds (we see him bare-chested and wearing jockey shorts), they walk together toward the bed, and animals in the room look on with alarm -- the scene ends implying that they are having sex. Two male police officers kiss passionately and grab each other's buttocks, and go into a room. Homer asks an Inuit woman which way to go and she uses her clothed breasts to point the way. A man at a fairground says, "My wives are gonna kill me." It is shown that he has two conjoined twins as wives.
violence Moderate comic violence. In a cartoon within the movie, a character is stabbed repeatedly by a flagpole (no blood shown) and is blown apart by an explosion (no blood shown). Martin stands up to a bunch of bullies and throws a garbage can lid at them, hitting them in one shot. A mob, featuring the other characters who have been on the show ( such as Apu, Jimbo, Snake, Dr. Hibbert, and Krusty the Clown ), attempt to blame Homer, by trying to kill him, and later his family. They all have very threatening angry looks on their faces, rakes, torches, guns, and ropes. The mob is later foiled after the Simpsons jump into a sinkhole that sends them out of the dome, to be away from being murdered. A robot shoots itself in the head. Homer gets a hammer caught in his eye. Homer gets hit by a wrecking ball and is hit between a giant rock and "a hard place" A penguin in a video game is shot by a walrus. Before Russ Cargill is about to shoot Homer and Bart, Maggie pushes a rock/boulder on his head, assuming that he is killed. Mostly the violence is slapstick and intended to be funny. A man is killed by a giant shard of glass, hitting him in the crotch. A man is crushed by the corner of a glass dome. No blood or violence is shown, he is just comically flattened. A large, glass dome explodes and shards of glass (big and small) rain down on the citizens of Springfield.
profanity Infrequent mild language, rude gestures. While Homer Simpson is sinking in a sink hole, he sticks his middle fingers up at an angry mob/crowd. 1 use of goddamn ("Somebody just throw the goddamn bomb!") 4 uses of hell. 2 uses of ass. 1 use of damn.
alcohol Brief soft drug use. Otto smokes a bong. Bart drinks a small bottle of whiskey and there are several empty beer bottles in a bar scene. A woman smokes a pipe.
frightening Occasional very mild scary scenes. There are some domestic/relationship themes that may confuse or upset young children. Some scenes contain a mild sense of threat. The band Green Day drowns in a contaminated lake. In a dream sequence, Homer is torn apart by trees. There is a very funny song called "Spider Pig" played in random parts throughout the movie, the one in Homer's dream sequence might be scary to small children. The concept of forever being imprisoned may offend or terrify some viewers. The scene where Marge, Bart, and Lisa are captured by Russ Cargill may be a little intense. The Simpsons' escape scene is intense and about 5 minutes to 10 minutes long. There is implication to 5 people's lives (death), and some brief blood. The scene where Krusty the Clown angrily screams, "Get out of here!", to Homer after he kicks down a countdown bomb ( which lowers down the minutes to 4 from 8, and that's how Krusty screamed at Homer ) may frighten younger viewers. If movies had ESRB ratings: T for Drug Reference, Cartoon Violence, Crude Humor, Mild Language, Partial Nudity, Suggestive Themes, Use of Alcohol
