nudity | There are several references of prostitution. A woman in one scene is wearing a see through night gown; her breasts are semi-visible. Several different woman and girls are dressed very revealing throughout the movie. Also revealing cleavage. A man implies that he is taking pills to make him more sexual and his genitals bigger. A woman spends most of the movie wearing only her husband's shirt, and her white panties. Her panties are visible several times throughout the film. |
violence | A woman falls into fiery waters. We don't see anything graphic. People fall down to their deaths while a ship is capsizing. We see several men and women hit the side of a wall and die, a man and woman are pinned to a wall by a piano, making them react in pain; others crash into hard objects and more. The only gory scene is when we see a cook's burnt face. It looks bloody. An elderly woman suffers a heart attack and dies. |
profanity | PG-13 related language throughout. One of the characters consistently swears in every scene he's in, including his wife. Jesus and God's names are said in vain. |
alcohol | People are seen drinking alcohol during a celebration. |
frightening | The capsizing scene is very frightening and disturbing. After it happens, a man's body hits the ceiling, which has become the floor. People are seen screaming in terror while holding onto tables and falling. One man loses his grip on a table and falls onto a chandelier, which kills him instantly. A man falls off a ladder and is killed when he hits the water. Dead bodies are seen in the film throughout. Suggested MPAA Rating: PG-13 for sequences of disaster-related peril, some sensuality, and language. |
