A lion is killed with one shot. We see the body.
A man is dragged out of his tent and screams as he is eaten. The screams and death is brief and off screen. We see very briefly his body being eaten by birds.

Charles Remington (Michael Douglas) and John Patterson hunt the lions and find their cave and discover many bones of their prey.
A lion kills a baboon (offscreen). The lion jumps towards Patterson but is shot. Remington joins Patterson in hunting the wounded lion. The lion jumps at them and is shot in the head by Remington.
A man dreams that his wife is killed by a lion when she comes to visit him
Patterson goes into Remington's tent and finds a pool of blood. He grabs his rifle and follows the tracks. He finds the remainder of the body (offscreen). But we see blood covering the crops.
The other lion attacks Patterson and he endures a long chase with the lion until he manages to shoot it in the body. It crawls across the ground and he shoots it in the head. We see the bullet wound in the head for a few seconds.

There is a scene of a baboon being killed in order to lure the man-eating lions. Human bones are discovered by hunters and realize the lions are killing people for pleasure. There are numerous suspenceful scenes that show lions chasing villagers. |
