Snorting substances, smoking
One of the main points in the film is that one of the characters sells "magic dust" in pen casings (the plastic part with the ink part removed) and the "magic dust" is one of the ways to kill the aliens. All of the main characters are forced into taking the drug at one point in the movie to prove that they are not actually aliens. There are also instances of the pen casings being shoved into alien's eyes and other parts of their bodies. |

In the final fight scenes in the locker room and pool area, there are a couple of jump scare scenes. Plus the "queen" alien is in alien form at partial times, which might be frightening to some people.
The opening chase scene in which Principal Drake is menaced by the Coach and then unexpectedly killed by Mrs. Olsen is intense and suspenseful. The scene where Miss Burke's decapitated head sprouts tentacles and crawls toward her body is creepy, though there is a comedic line spoken during the scene.
The moment when an infected Principal Drake rises after being shot dead is frightening. As is her body liquefying into a puddle of goo shortly afterward.
