nudity Near the beginning of the back of a car, the man is touching the woman's legs and sensually saying poetry to her. She responds to say poetry turns her on as she moans when he recite poetry. In the DIRECTOR'S CUT (in German version) [the regular cut has a milder version with no shown nudity] the main character strips her clothes and takes a bath. The scene is around two minutes and shows her breasts during most of it. This scene is reduced in the North American version. A woman is seen from behind while reading a letter in the bath, then suddenly stands and her bare behind is visible for a brief second.
violence Comic violence. A man gets his hand set on fire. A man falls in a guillotine and it is implied that he has his head chopped off but nothing is shown. The prehistoric bird gets shot and there is some blood spray on impact. Since the man and bird are 'connected' the man shows a bloody wound and later has blood covering his hand. A woman falls back on her hair pin and it is impaled (mild) through her head. In the DIRECTOR'S CUT, we actually see the hairpin insert into her head. A thin line of blood is seen from the exit wound on her forehead.
profanity Both versions have hardly any cursing, I really only remember hearing 'damn' used twice.
alcohol There is talk about a man drinking whiskey at the beginning, we see him walking around drunk in a comedic way. In the DIRECTOR'S CUT, the main character is seen smoking once.
frightening The film has a comedic adventure feel to it. Mummies get brought back to life, and become significant characters carrying dialogue and commedic exchanges ensue.
