| nudity | 5/10 A man and woman desperately kiss each other. The man licks his fingers and then fingers the woman (all off-screen). In one scene, a woman wears a saree without a blouse, so her bare back and hip can be seen in a mirror (including partial buttocks). |
| violence | 4/10 A man has bruises on his face from an accident. A man throws a belt at another man's face and blood comes out of his nose. A man tries to save a boy; he gets thrown on rocks and his face and neck is all bloody. The boy dies in this scene, however, this is not graphic and he can only be seen from a distance. Men burn a dead body, not graphic. |
| profanity | 5/10 About 10 uses of "fuck," and some other milder profanities. Pretty tame language for an R-rated movie. |
| alcohol | 5/10 Three men clearly abuse cough medicine and painkillers to get high in a few scenes, nothing bad comes out of it though. People smoke tobacco in several scenes. |
| frightening | 3/10 The sequence in which the three young boys fall from a float and two of them almost drown isn't graphic, yet it may be intense for a young audience. A man has bandages covering his face after a near-fatal motorcycle accident. He later removes his bandages, to look at his scars, which have not healed that well. Overall, not a pretty sight. The man later reveals that he smashed his motorcycle on purpose in a suicide attempt. This is mentioned in a really quick sentence and could be missed.
