The bugs can be frightening to some. Also many of the killings and gory scenes are intense.
The brain bug, which is frightening, sucks the brain out of a human. This scene may disturb some.
A part of South America is devastated, many die. This scene is quite sad as Rico's parents are implied to have also died.
This movie is very intense and bloody, but the satirical tone lightens things up a bit.
There are many deaths, including main characters.
A cow is eviscerated by a giant inesctoid alien; though a "censored" bar partially obscures it, the scene is still quite gruesome. (The censor bar was intended to be a joke).
