nudity The movie opens with a busty woman (Leslie Colton) washing herself in the shower. Breasts, stomach, and buttocks are clearly visible. Her pubic area is briefly visible in the extreme corner of the screen. A young woman (Erika Smith) wears a short dress exposing her thighs. She teases two men with promises of promiscuous behavior at the beach. The girl jumps one of the boys on the bed and exposes her buttocks and breasts. They have simulated sex with lots of screaming. A girl walks into a lake wearing a full cut bikini. A bunch of teens have a beach party and all the girls are wearing string bikinis. Despite having appeared nude in many movies before, Erin Brown (Misty Mundae) does not enter a scene in anything less than jeans and long-sleeved shirts.
violence Special effects are deliberately cheap throughout, lending a comical tone to every scene of violence. The shower girl gets mauled by a sea creature and the beginning. He entrails are visible for a split second, and lots of obviously fake blood goes down the shower drain. Same for a girl on the beach, a man in a boat, and more kids inside the house.
alcohol Several people are shown drinking beer and smoking at a party. Illicit drugs are never seen or mentioned.
frightening All the monster scenes are comical and silly, always played down with cheap effects. Would not be scary to anyone except very young children who would not be watching this type of film anyway.
