Following the events of "Captain America: Civil War", Peter Parker tries to balance his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with fighting crime as his superhero alter ego Spider-Man.
nudity | An underage girl comments that she would "eff Thor." Ned gets caught by a teacher on a computer at school during the homecoming dance . While he was really helping Peter while fighting the Vulture , he lies that he was watching porn. This is not sexual or crude and is meant to be funny (nothing shown). Peter is repeatedly called "Penis Parker" by a bully. At one point, people chant it at a party. |
violence | A character gets disintegrated by a piece of alien weaponry. though we find out moments later it was an accident. Spider-Man is given a fairly savage beating by the Vulture near the end of the film, but this only lasts for a couple of seconds. However, a building is dropped on Spider-Man, and some blood is shown. |
profanity | Peter is often called "Penis Parker" by Flash Thompson. There are probably 3-4 uses of S**t, but it's not used constantly. There are mixed uses of other words, as well. Probably 2-3 uses of Damn, Bastard, and maybe 1 use of b***h. Hell is used a few times. Middle finger is shot in one scene. The final line of the movie is an incomplete "What the f--?" (cut to credits) |
alcohol | Aunt May has a glass of beer at a restaurant. Other bottles of beer are seen. Peter is offered a drink but declines and states he is too young drink |
frightening | In two separates scenes, people are trapped in an elevator that is about to fall, and a ferry boat with passengers is split in half. In both cases, everyone escapes unharmed with the later achieved with Iron Man arriving to assist Spider-Man. At one point in the movie a character is crushed underneath rubble and screams out in distress. However, given that this is Spider-Man, he gathers himself, both physically and spiritually, and uses his super-strength to lift the rubble and throw it off of himself with considerable effort. |
