nudity | A woman wears a short skirt that reveals part of her leg above the knee but she's wearing black tights. A man is shown bare-chested. A man kisses a woman briefly; later, they have a longer kiss. |
violence | A man's face is a little bloody after being punched. A woman says she thinks his jaw is broken. A man has some bloody scrapes, cuts, and abrasions on his face and hands after jumping from a moving train, hitting the ground and rolling/bouncing repeatedly. A man is shot and is seen lying on the ground dying. A man and woman are seen dying/dead on the ground with a pool of blood around her head after being shot; a tear trickles down from her eye and she blinks it once or twice but is otherwise unmoving. A train explodes several times during the movie. A "fire ball" travels through the train car. Twice, we see a body being consumed by flames in very slow motion, in one instance a woman's face distorts a la "The Scream". Very brief. No "melting" of features, though. We see a dead body with missing limbs, the lower half of his body gone (ends at an angle, from bottom of ribs on one side to hip on other side) & his intestines & spinal cord are encased in a clear shield, which is hard to see through. In another scene, you see an extremely brief close up of his face & head, but his skull cuts away towards the back & much of his his brain is showing. It is not grey in color, but reddish-pink, with electrodes attached to it. Several train passengers are attacked, punched, threatened, etc. but no blood is shown. The attackees respond in surprise, pain, & fear. Lots of shouting. |
profanity | 1 "F-Word" ("F*ck you!") 3 "G*ddamn" 1 "Damn" ("Damn it!") 8 Scatological Terms 5 Anatomical Terms 1 "Bullsh*t" 1 "Sh*t" 1 "A**hole" 1 "Hell" ("What the hell is wrong with you?") |
alcohol | None. Unless you consider coffee a drug (stimulant). |
frightening | Very suspenseful and action packed. No where near as frightening as it could have been. Not gore-filled. (It helps that the term, "everything is going to be alright" is repeated several times throughout the movie, by different characters.) |
