There are also numerous jumpscare scenes throughout the film, usually heightened by the audio and editing. These include the sudden appearance of Sadako behind her victims and some school boys being pulled forcefully into bathtubs or cabinets by a pair of ghostly hands.
A girl attempts suicide by choking herself, but killed by Sadako before she kills herself.

'Sadako vs Kayako' revolves around two teenagers who find their lives in danger after viewing a video tape, believed to be cursed, in the second-hand video tape player they had bought. To suppress the spirit Sadako which haunts them, a medium introduces another formidable spirit, Kayako, to combat Sadako in an attempt to save the girls.
