violence | Wayne (J.T. Walsh) pays Michael (Nicolas Cage) to murder his wife, Suzanne (Lara Flynn Boyle). Michael accepts the money but never kills her Michael hits a man with his car by accident, it is later revealed that the man had been shot twice in the stomach (Two bloody bullets are seen) Wayne chases down Michael with a rifle shooting at him frequently, however Michael is saved by Lyle (Dennis Hopper) After Lyle hears that Michael was intepretating himself, Lyle and Wayne hunt down Michael in a bar where Michael escapes on a truck roof Lyle attempts to kill Suzanne, but Michael intervenes and knocks Lyle out When Wayne is taken into custody, Lyle plans to break him out and make him find half a million dollars in cash, during the process he shoots a policeman in the head (Offscreen) Lyle kills Wayne by throwing a knife into his neck (Not too graphic) Michael and Lyle fight each other in a graveyard until Michael shoves Lyle on a sword sticking out a statue (Sword seen sticking out of Lyle's torso, Graphic), however Lyle survives and is shortly shot to death by Suzanne (Bloody bullet holes are seen) Michael chucks Suzanne off a train |
