Movie Parental Guide

nudity Some Sexual references a few male bare butts in the dark
violence Many people are shot throughout the film. Most of them result in blood gunshot wounds, but none of them are too specifically gory. A bunker is blown up with a grenade launcher. We see two bodies; one is dead with burnt and melting skin and the other is still alive but bleeding out severely. A man is hung and has his throat slit off screen. He is hung very high on a building, and a person sitting below him is doused in large amounts of his blood. A man sets off a booby trap and gets blown up. We see him holding his intestines and he bleeds out massively before dying. A man gets a machete to the neck. The blade goes about halfway through and does not fully decapitate him. Not too much blood. A grenade goes off, causing a man to suffer multiple injuries, including blindness. Lots of blood on his face and upper body. A man is shot in the head point blank with a pistol. There is a close-up of the entry wound. Lots and lots of aged and decaying corpses are seen throughout the film.
profanity quite a bit of strong language Around 70 uses of the f-bomb, with only one use of 'motherf*cker'. Some other mild language, mainly the phrases "you son of a bitch" and "asshole" in particular. Loads of insults and name calling such as "midget" "idiot" "baffoon" or "loser".
alcohol Some men smoke in order to calm themselves. Soldiers from another squadron give the protagonists beer as a gift.
frightening See the 'violence and gore' section. The film revolves around suspension and fear as its main themes, which results in the entire second half containing nonstop frightening and intense scenes. The characters often see ghosts, including a woman in a white dress who slowly walks and eventually disappears. Whenever the characters try to chase after them, they cannot find them and often question their sanity. Many dead and rotted corpses are seen in the films runtime, most of so are quite disgusting looking.
