Mary (Taraji P. Henson) is a hitwoman working for an organized crime family in Boston. Mary's life is completely turned around when she meets a young boy whose path she crosses when a professional hit goes awry. A hit woman kills a drug boss only to learn that she has left a boy orphaned. A year later, she saves the boy from a dangerous life on the street but finds herself unable to give the boy or herself a fresh start.
