nudity | John Travolta's character(Jack) is a womanizer and we see a woman(not his wife) leaving his hotel bedroom implying they had sex. A man and a woman in bed together after having sex (no nudity). Lots of sexual discussion(including uses of the word "horny") much of it related to Jack's womanizing but there is also conversation about a heterosexual man who had sex with his gay drug dealer while in the throws of his addiction. Billy Bob Thornton pulls out his penis in the office(we don't see it but his co-workers do and he is rebuked for his actions). Two women kiss quickly. |
violence | Jack's wife throws keys at him hitting him in the back of the head(played for laughs). Kathy Bates holds a pistol to a man's crotch and threatens to pull the trigger(played for laughs but we half believe that she is capable of doing it). We briefly see the body of a woman who shot herself. |
profanity | Liberal usage of R-rated profanity throughout the film including but not limited to fuck(several sexual uses), shit, ass, asshole, damn, hell, cunt, goddamn, son of a bitch. Also terms for male genitals(including pecker, python, mustang). |
alcohol | A politician's past cocaine use is discussed in detail and at length. Social drinking some of which leads to drunkenness. Maybe a little smoking. |
frightening | A character commits suicide off screen which could be upsetting. |
