nudity | Planes react with disgust at seeing a car's undercarriage. Two RV's talk about wanting to revisit the place where they had their first kiss. A truck talks about his girlfriend leaving him for a hybrid. |
violence | Some planes narrowly avoid crashes. A wall has pictures of planes that have crashed. Blade Ranger shelters Dusty from burning embers, getting singed himself in the process. Dusty "flies angry" and tries to push his engine faster after Dottie tells him he can't race. When he realizes he's in trouble, he tries to land but veers out of control and runs into a pole, causing a fire that destroys Chug and Dottie's gas station. After not following Blade's orders, Dusty crashes into a stream and stalls. Blade barely rescues him before he goes over the waterfall. Maru tells Dusty that Blade's good friend was killed by a freak accident on the TV set. |
profanity | A couple of phrases are meant to suggest curse words, like "I kicked Aston-Martin" and "Oh, Chevy." |
alcohol | Various drinks are served in a bar. |
frightening | Some cars are trapped by fire, but are rescued by planes. Two RV's are trapped on a wooden bridge. Thanks to Dusty and Blade, they barely escape as the fire burns through the supports and the bridge collapses. Blade Ranger and Dusty become trapped by the fire and take shelter in an abandoned mine. Blade shields Dusty from the fire and becomes singed, then when he tries to take off after the fire passes, he whirls around and becomes unconscious due to the injury. The scene may be frightening to young children. In the climactic scene, Dusty's gearbox breaks, rendering him flightless in midair. Although it's obvious later that he was saved by Blade Ranger, the camera cuts right before Dusty crashes into the ground. We later see the mangled, unconscious Dusty being transported by Windlifter. |
