He is seen to slowly fade away as he tries to make his way back to the hospital. However, just when his parents and doctor think that he may not be able to pull through, he regains consciousness with the encouragement of his sister. 'Phantom Boy' is a French animation about an ill and bed-ridden young boy, Leo, who discovers he has the ability to float free of his body. While drifting about the hospital one day, he meets an injured police lieutenant. Together, the two try to take down a villain who is trying to take New York City hostage by infiltrating the city with a computer virus.
