In the story involving a wedding ring, the main character - Richard - comes across his wife's ring at the pawn shop and decides to investigate into her disappearance that took place six years ago. Richard eventually tracks down Johnny; the man whom he believes has information about his wife. As Richard steps into Johnny's apartment, he finds Johnny masturbating to an erotic video that is being played on the television. In the video, there are three women and a man - who are all completely nude - moving around on a bed. While for most part of the scene the television screen is blurred in the background, there are several close-up shots of the erotic video showing the threesome in heavy sexual activity.

When Johnny refuses to cooperate, Richard picks up a hammer and smashes it into Johnny's mouth, breaking several of his front teeth.
