In Holt, a little Colorado town, Addie Moore (Jane Fonda) pays a surprising visit to a neighbor, Louis Waters (Robert Redford). Her significant other passed on years back, as did his better half, and in such a residential community they'd been neighbors for a considerable length of time, however had little contact. Their youngsters (Matthias Schoenaerts and Judy Greer) live far away and they are isolated in their enormous houses. Addie tries to set up an association, and capitalize on whatever remains of the time they have.
