Prehistoric man Tumak is banished from his savage tribe and meets pretty Loana who belongs to a gentler coastal tribe but he must fight caveman Payto to win her favors.
As the Earth wrestles with its agonising birth, the peoples of this barren and desolate world struggle to survive. Driven by animal instinct they compete against the harsh conditions, their giant predators, and warring tribes. When two people from opposing clans fall in love, existing conventions are shattered forever as each tribe struggles for supremacy and Man embarks on his tortuous voyage of civilisation.
The cavemen (and cavewomen) fight each other with sticks, stones, and spears, but nothing explicit. One man is kicked off of a cliff, but nothing is shown after he falls.
There are quite a few instances of dinosaurs attacking the cavemen. They defend themselves with spears and such, but the cavemen often are bitten by the dinosaurs. Also, the dinosaurs fight each other.
