| nudity | a man unbuttons a womens shirt and then feels one of her breasts against her will before another man interupts him. she runs out of the room buttoning up. a man and a women enter a cabin. she is freezing from being on the deck of a ship in a storm. he turns the shower on and helps her get off her pants. he then puts her in the shower and begins to rub her down to return circulation. he turns her around to rub her chest and realizes she is a woman . he thought she was a boy due to her short hair cut. he backs away. Ffolks states many times throughout the movie that he strongly dislikes women. |
| violence | many people are shot to death. towards the end, a bunch of men are harpooned with harpoon guns. the crew try to get the terrorists to drink poisoned coffee, but the find out and make one of the crew drink it instead. a few men are thrown overboard. an oil rig and ship are rigged with explosives to get the british government to pay a ransom. |
