In the high-stakes universe of political power-dealers, Elizabeth Sloane is the most looked for after and imposing lobbyist in D.C. In any case, when going up against the most effective rival of her vocation, she discovers winning may come at too high a cost.
nudity | 2/10 A protagonist is seen talking to a male prostitute for about 90sec. She takes of her blouse, her bra can be seen and then cuts. Sex implied no nudity though. This all takes place in a hotel room. Another scene with the same male prostitute. In this one moaning can be heard for a couple of seconds. The shot is blurred to avoid being graphic. And then the lie in bed covered in bed sheets for couple of seconds again. No nudity whatsoever. Passionate kissing with the same male prostitute doesn't lead to anything though. |
violence | Once a woman held by gunpoint, the assailant is shot dead by a sivilian carrying a gun. No blood whatsoever. |
profanity | Couple of times Sh*t, F*ck *sshole |
alcohol | 2/10 One of the mains uses pills to prevent her from sleeping. In many scenes. On the scene with the male prostitute alcohol and smoking can be seen. The lead is accused on court of using unperscipted pills of many types. |
frightening | 1/10 The movie is a political thriller, I personaly don't find it intense in any way. Though someone might have a different opinion. The only truly intense scene is the woman held at gun point. Maybe for some audience the court scene at the end. And everything that the protagonist is going through from the beggining till the end of the movie. |
