nudity | John Larroquette and Kirstie Alley start to get intimate at the beginning and end of the film but are interrupted. Some sexual discussion some of it very crude and nasty. |
violence | Played for laughs. A cat dies several times and comes back to life. Slapstick destruction, explosions, fighting, injuries, threats, etc..Projectile vomiting from a cat(realistic, discusting, and lingered over). Discussion about the best way to murder someone. A woman thrown out a window(not killed). |
profanity | A lawn is mown to read "fuck you". A few other f words are spoken but they are bleeped out. Use of words like shit, ass, dickhead, fag(said by a nasty child) throughout the movie. Also, lots of mean-spirited name calling such as moron, yokal, and maggot and a few bigotted ones said about a man from the Middle East. |
alcohol | Social drinking. A teenager is a very mean heroin addict and dealer but we don't see him actually using. One of the ways the cat dies by overdosing on the heroin which a cop later tastes. |
frightening | Chaotic scenes but nothing scary or frightening. While the movie stays within the confines of its PG-13 rating technically, this is one of the most vile PG-13 rated comedies I have ever seen. |
