Yuri's uncle is killed, he is obviously saddened.
Vitaly struggles with drug addiction throughout the movie.
Yuri takes part in killing his rival (though not by choice) and later drinks and has hallucinations about him.
Vitaly is killed after he explodes a truck of assault rifles. He attempts to blow up the remaining truck with a grenade when Yuri grabs the grenade from him and puts the pin back in it. Vitaly takes his last breath and dies. Yuri looks at his murders in horror.
The film has a general disturbing tone to it, as it shows how gun running, while profitable, can cause many conflicts and deaths.
