nudity | Suggested MPAA Rating: PG for some sequences of war violence, mild language, and brief smoking 2/10 One man rips off another's clothes (the character is only shown shirtless/from the chest up), then comments on how "very fair" his skin is while touching his chest. The scene is suggestive, but menacing rather than erotic. However, it is strongly implied, without anything actually being shown, that the character whose shirt is ripped off is raped. |
violence | 5/10 A man on a horse shoot's another man and dies (non-graphic) A man almost dies from dehydration in a desert. (he is saved by Lawrence) A father gives his child a gun to point at Lawrence and the Arab people. Lawrence willingly shoot's a traitor but Lawrence becomes scared because he enjoyed it. A young character drown's in quicksand. The Arab's raid a Turkish village. A couple scenes of the Arab's blowing up Turkish trains killing a lot of people (some blood is shown on corpses.) A young character is injured, to avoid being tortured Lawrence shoot's him in the head and dies (off-screen) Lawrence is implied to been beaten and possibly raped by Turkish soldiers. A man on a horse charges at the Turk's, He and the horse are shot and killed and we briefly see the man and horses corpses covered in blood. A battle sequence involving many shooting and stabbing, blood is shown on dead body's and weapons, Lawrence is covered in blood. |
profanity | 3/10 Mild Language such as damn, hell, oh my god, and bloody. A couple of blasphemous utterances of the name of Christ, and a couple of utterances of the racist term 'wog'. |

frightening | The deaths of young characters may be distressing, as well as the scene of implied torture/assault and its aftermath, but by modern standards the film is comparatively subdued. |
