In the epic fantasy, scruffy, kindhearted Kubo ekes out a humble living while devotedly caring for his mother in their sleepy shoreside village. The film contains some scenes of violence where the characters are fighting with weapons such as swords or fighting off fearsome creatures like a giant skeleton and a giant centipede. 'Kubo And The Two Strings' is an animated film about Kubo, a one-eyed boy who can play magical music that animates the paper figurines that he had created. One day, Kubo meets two eerie women who claim they were sent by the Moon King to take away his remaining eye. With the help of a Monkey and a Beetle, Kubo manages to flee and sets out to find his father's magical suit of armor to defeat the forces of evil.
