| violence | 7.5/10 Arguably the goriest of the Kizumonogatari trilogy. During one fight scene, a teenage girl is hit across the stomach with a large metal cross. Blood is seen spraying and her intestines (quite graphically) spill out onto the floor. Given that this scene is animated, the details aren't too gratuitous, but the gore is considerably over-exaggerated. The girl's friend goes berserk and starts strangling the attacker, but is stopped before he can continue. The same boy is also shown attemping to stuff his friend's intestines back into her body. Very bloody and very disturbing. She is later seen to be fine (and, if the viewer is watching the series in chronological order, they know she will be resurrected anyway). |
