nudity | A man and a woman kiss passionately. A man is said and shown to have many children. |
violence | Theatrical Version: Moderately mild battle sequences, not particularly intense, with little to no blood (ex. on the tip of a sword). The most graphic scenes involve a man getting decapitated offscreen, a man being pierced by an arrow in his chest, and a man being stabbed by a sword. Overall it is the typical PG-13 violence. Director's Cut: Strong battle sequences including graphic medieval violence, dismemberment, torture, and blood spray. Some of the scenes in the Director's cut include: Limbs being chopped off. People cutting off heads, and display them in a gory fashion. Gallons of blood spray, and lots of blood stains the ground during battles. Brutal acts of violence including shooting arrows through people's eyeballs (blood squirts). A top-tier R movie with bloody violence. |
profanity | A few minor profanities, such as "Damn" and "Hell". A few uses of words like "Arse" and "Bastard". Some sexual references. |
alcohol | There is a brief drinking scene early in the film. |
