We see a brief re-creation of the Kennedy assassination in close-up: Kennedy is shot and we see his head jerk forwards as blood and brain matter spurt out and we see a deep hole in his head, Jackie turns around and tries to collect small pieces of his brain matter off of the trunk, and then we see an overhead shot of him lying in her lap with his bloody wound exposed and blood scattered on Jackie's face and clothing.
Shots of Jackie walking through the White House with blood on her dress, taking off her blood-stained clothing, cleaning blood off of her forehead, and showering as blood rinses out of her hair.
