In 1951, Marcus, a common laborers Jewish understudy from New Jersey, goes to a little Ohio school, where he battles with sexual restraint and social alienation, in the midst of the progressing Korean War.
Set in 1951, the story takes after Marcus Messner, the optimistic child of a modest genuine butcher from Newark, N.J. Marcus leaves for Ohio to learn at a little, preservationist school, where he ends up inconsistent with the organization, thinks about against Semitism and sexual suppression and pines after a beset young lady.
