nudity | 2/10 A woman wears a revealing gown. A snowman is seen urinating. |
violence | 6/10 No actual blood. When a character bleeds, their blood is actually black ink. A man cuts his thumb and writes with the blood. A woman talks about attempted suicide by overdose. A man shoots himself in the head as his young son watches, this is very graphic. A woman is seen lying on the floor with glass shards in her skin. She is assumed to have died. Very emotional. Blood is seen coming out of a man's forehead as a woman begins to cut it open with a saw, cutting and squishing sounds are heard as this continues off screen. Disturbing but not gory. Very Brief. Although not graphic, a woman cuts off a man's forehead with a saw while a child watches in horror. The man is seen without the top of his head, as another man sticks his hand inside. A man is seen lying in a pool of blood. |
profanity | 5/10 Some uses of damn, goddamn, bastard, bitch, hell |
alcohol | 6/10 A man is seen drinking alcohol straight from a bottle to cope with his depression. |
frightening | 7/10 The movie is definitely not for children. The entire film is intense and deep, and could scare kids. The Snowman is quite a dark character that could easily scare kids Durring a sequence, a man kills himself in front of his child, the scene also show the child as an adult with his own child who he neglects. Very disturbing and emotional. The Snowman's face melts, into a skull before revealing a human face. The main character is taken to a circus, where he meets his future self and daughter. The group of clowns and Snow White at the circus can be scary to some viewers. The final sequence can be emotionally disturbing as the main character is pursued by a dark entity. The circus scene is also very dark, not suitable for kids 13+ |
