nudity | First cousins develop a sexual relationship. They hold hands, kiss (at 0:35:39-36:02, 0:45:08-15, 1:19:34 and 1:38:54), making out, nestle sitting and lying down, and copulate (at 0:41:50-42:42 and 0:56:18-25), the nudity being intermittent, non-explicit. There is a brief dream sequence (at 1:03:09-23) depicting the main female character running naked through a misty forest. Her breasts are covered by a cloth meant to look like she is naked for a few moments. Boys wearing only boxers swim and play in a stream located in the woods. |
violence | There is a potential rape scene in which a roughed-up woman momentarily flees and hides from her harassing captors (at 1:08:09-09:57). In one of the most violent scenes, young boy is briefly shown being shot and falling down, small drops of his blood spattering onto the face of the girl near him. He can be seen with a bullet exit wound upon his bloodied head, as he drools and loses consciousness while struggling to rise. A pile of bagged dead bodies of men, women and children can be seen. Multiple are unzipped, one by one, until one of the bodies is identified. During the process, the leg of a dead toddler or kindergarten-aged child is shown. Various dead bodies with bullet wounds on their heads throughout the film. There are continued references to a nuclear explosion. Two men are shot to death. Many gun shots are heard throughout the film. A squadron of a dozen fighters jets briefly zoom across the skies. Soldiers raid some teenagers' abode, pointing their rifles at one of the stunned and bewildered boys. A teenage boy can be seen with bruises and lacerations all over his head and torso. A younger boy can be briefly seen with old laceration scars on his back as he removes his shirt. A bloody finger is shown after being cut, at the end. |

frightening | Just about all of the violent scenes are frightening and intense. The viewing of dead bodies and the potential rape scene may upset some viewers. The overall theme of the latter half of the movie is that of martial law, foreign invasion, homicidal ambushes and some general mayhem. |
