In addition to the sword fighting, there are deaths by arrows and even drowning in a puddle. Not only men but also adolescent boys are seen lying bloody and dead. One shot that particularly stands out shows a mortally wounded man with copious amounts of blood pouring from his mouth in slow-motion. A man, executed by hanging, is shown struggling in the noose till dead. This is disturbing. |
