| nudity | A man and a woman have sex in a van, complete with heavy breathing, thrusting and moaning. The man's butt is seen several times from the side and then, briefly, from the back after he finishes. The woman's right breast and nipple can be glimpsed for a couple brief seconds twice. Very late in the film, the characters played by Cate Blanchett and Giovanni Ribisi make love. This is shown in an extremely discreet manner; they run outside until they stand under a tree. In extremely long shot, so that no bodily parts are actually shown, they remove their clothes and begin kissing. No moaning or heavy breathing is heard during this scene, just background music, and the scene fades to black before the sex really begins. The next morning, we see them lying together asleep beneath the tree and we can infer that they are nude. |
