alcohol | Aside from the iconic tobacco character in the title and used throughout the movie, there is also a character named Virginia Slim. Most of the main characters smoke at one point or another. There are two bars scenes with heavy drinking and a drunken bar fight. A fictitious drug called Crystal Dream is a main plot point throughout the movie but no one is seen actually using it. Its implied the drug is similar to the real world PCP or LSD. |
