Other points of violence and gore include an assault with a shovel to the head, vomiting, a killer bathing in blood (and then having vigorous sex with a severed head), and intense physical violence among family members (child abuse and off-screen rape). There is a shot in the movie of a boy tied to his bed, multiple gruesome close-ups of mutilated body parts are shown, the camera reveals that parts of his dismembered parents (who have been chopped up into quite a few pieces) are stacked all around him and on a pile on top of him, and his parent's bloody severed heads (their eyes are also gouged out) have been propped up on either side of his head (the boy is alive). Very graphic and disturbing. |
