nudity | There are a three fairly brief but somewhat sexually explicit scenes in this film. Although these contain instances of nudity, there are no lingering shots in the film. The opening scenes consist of a "threesome" in a bed. A man and 2 women's buttocks are shown as well as the women's breasts, though in very brief and mostly blurred moments. A blurred side profile of a naked man are shown through a shower door. A woman's breasts are shown in a later pre-sex scene. In this scene a man is undressed and we see his torso and behind. A scene shows two teenage boys masturbating at a fairground. They have their underpants and jeans pulled down and their bare buttocks are shown. They talk while masturbating but make noises of pleasure and grunt, and one boy pauses the conversation to climax and looks down as he apparently ejaculates (though this is not shown). He then tries to hurry his friend up who then masturbates quickly and makes a noise of pleasure (implying he has quickly brought himself to orgasm). A later sex scene shows the woman's naked breasts as well as a quick glimpse of the young man's scrotum through his legs is shown. The sex scene lasts several moments and and is shown interspersed with other film action, but shows no penetration. |
profanity | There is one use of very strong language, and some strong and milder language. A young child asks 'what does c*nt mean?' and her mother, who explains what it means, tells her it is a bad word and that she is not to say it again. |
alcohol | Scenes of alcohol, drugs and smoking are shown, (including hard drug use). The film as a whole does not promote drug misuse, although its use is sexualised in one scene. A drug dealer is shown describing the products she is selling. |
frightening | A young girl is seen being blown up by a naval mine washed ashore, but the details of the death are not shown, with the horror of the situation portrayed through the looks of horror and distress from onlookers. |
