The venture, scripted by Melfi and essayist Chris Wehner, is about a young fellow (Grimes) who searches out a father he has never met and, through no blame of his own, winds up blockaded in an alcohol store with five other individuals on Christmas Eve. The story happens in the invented town of El Camino, NV.
