Liu Xing is a grant kid from China, recently touched base in Salt Lake City, a graduate understudy in cosmology, in Utah to ponder in Professor Reiser's prestigious program. Back in China, Liu Xing's folks are pleased with him, and he commits himself to satisfying their trusts. All the graduate understudies in the program take a shot at activities that broaden and further Reiser's model of the roots of the universe. Liu Xing does well until his own speculations move him far from Reiser's. Will Reiser and the division perceive Liu Xing's brightness? Will the young fellow's promoter, Joanna Silver, mediate?
