In 1979, a young soldier is working in China's snowcapped mountains when an explosion reveals bizarre fossils hidden deep in the mountain caverns. What they discover next will change his life and human history forever.

Monsters are realistic, large and frightening looking. Later in the film the werewolf style creatures are especially scary, similar to a monster wolf with huge teeth and decaying skin. Many tense and frightening scenes where humans are attacked.
What Age:
I'd say mature 11-13+ or younger kids who aren't easily scared. There isn't much objectionable material aside from being a little scary.
