| nudity | None actually, although serious cleavage is shown by Lana the cavewomen, (Bach) throughout the movie. A man tries to have sex with a cavewoman. Even though the sexual attempt was portrayed as comical and slapstick there were some rather risqué positions revealed, (his head between her legs and him making overt thrusting motions in anticipation of the act being realized). |
| violence | Atouk (Starr) and Lar (Quaid) are laying down dozing and an unusually large flying bug lands on Lar's face. Atouk squishes the bug into Lar's face resulting in a nasty yellowish and red goo all over La's face. Although don in a comic and slapstick fashion, the situation was really gross. Younger and more sensitive viewers should be warned of this moment coming. |
| profanity | One use of Sh*t, caca, poo all when a really large pool/pile of feces is found and mostly grunting and yelling noises. One caveman's animal skin catches fire on the rear and he runs away farting, in turn making the fire larger with every fart, perhaps 5+ times. |
| alcohol | The cavepeople do find red berries on a bush that causes one to sleep when eaten. They are used for that purpose. |
| frightening | Lana and Lar are washed down a river, (at different times), Lana is saved. Lar is found frozen in a wall of ice in an ice cave. He is saved as well by melting the ice but the abominable snowman is released also. |
