Hollywood Movies | Comedy | Action | Thriller
nudity | There are several sex scenes. Full frontal nudity of several women. There is also a scene towards the end where a C.G.I/ prosthetic penis is seen and used to represent a characters penis. Moreover, there are many sexually suggestive scenes, where characters (frequently Paz Vega) are shown in very revealing attire. Breasts are also frequently seen throughout and include full nipple visibility. |
violence | Strong graphic, relentless and gory violence, which features dismemberment, hitting, stabbing, shooting, torturing, mutilating, every possible way imaginable. The extreme impact of the violence, however, has a black comic tone. |
profanity | Profanity is liberally sprinkled throughout the film. |
alcohol | Very rarely do we see any of the characters using drugs/smoking. Champagne and wine are served at a formal gala. |
frightening | There are several scenes of graphic violence that can be very shocking or disturbing to some. However, the film is a dark comedy and not meant to be taken seriously. Ryder is tortured by Janet Mcteer's character: he is shot in the groin and then tortured with a clipper, the woman first cuts a part of his nose, and then proceeds to cut his finger. Later on it is implied that she also took his penis (not directly shown, but later when Alphonso Mcauley's and Scott Mechlowichz's characters arrive at the scene they find a severed penis). Very intense. |
