nudity | A couple of sexually suggestive scenes, but no explicit nudity. A man and a woman embrace. She is clearly naked, but the sensitive parts are hidden in shadows. The woman is later seen in various stages of pre- and post-coital undress, with the naughty bits always carefully concealed. A woman complains that a man was too rough with his lovemaking, which included biting her lip. He explains that a trauma in his past makes it perfectly OK for him to abuse her as he pleases. |
violence | It's a vampire movie: there is super-red blood trickling from lips and wounds. Kronos is a swordsman and doesn't seem to have any trouble killing jerks in a pub or angry townspeople who think he's responsible for a murder. |
profanity | None. |
alcohol | Kronos smokes cigars made of Chinese herbs; occasional smoking by others. Two scenes in a tavern; wine is consumed. Brandy is offered as a medicinal gesture. |
frightening | It's a horror movie, so yeah, pretty much the entire picture, though compared to today's slasher films, it's relatively restrained. |
