| nudity | A teenage girl's buttocks are seen (she is wearing a sleeveless shirt and panties). She is also briefly seen in a flashback. A young man removes his shirt, trousers and briefs, and remains fully naked for a few seconds. His buttocks are shown. His genitals cannot be seen. A young man undresses in front of a man and a woman to show them he has nothing to hide (no graphic detail is seen). The man proposes a corporal inspection and the young man says "be my guest". The young man is later seen sitting naked on his bed (again, his genitals are not seen). A man takes off a young man's robe, leaving him fully naked (his bare chest, back and buttocks are seen, but his genitals are obscured). A man and a woman enter a young man's bedroom and find him shaking naked and bloody on the floor (his buttocks can be seen). A young man's bare butt is clearly seen for a while as he walks fully naked. A woman enters a young man's bedroom (he is in bed naked, covered by the blanket, only his bare chest can be seen). He says "it helps me sleep, when I masturbate", then takes the woman's hand and brings it under the blanket; it is implied that the woman touches and strokes his penis (we only see the blanket moving). They kiss and he undresses her, revealing her bare breasts for a few seconds. She moans in pleasure as he is implied to perform oral sex on her (fully offscreen). The scene ends. A woman and a young man have sex. He is lying naked in bed covered by the blanket. They kiss, and the woman takes his hand and makes him grope one of her breasts (she i still clothed); then she starts kissing him on the chest down to his abdomen (she might perform oral sex on him, but we do not see anything). She is then seen on top of him, quietly thrusting and moaning (we briefly and unclearly see glimpses of her bare breasts). They are later seen sleeping in bed. Afterwards we see them as recorded by a camera (the sex scene is not pictured), and her buttocks are visible as she lies on the bed (she is wearing a shirt and panties). A young man kisses a woman, and they are implied to have sex (nothing is shown). A woman takes a shower (we briefly see her bare butt). She is then seen wearing a robe. A young man enters a woman's bedroom as she is masturbating, interrupting her, then leaves. A young man is seen shirtless several times. A woman is seen wearing a babydoll at night. A man tells a woman that she should have more sex and remarks that he is available. A few other mild sexual references. |
| violence | A teenage girl is seen being thrown around a room by an invisible menace; she is repeatedly hit in the face (blood comes out of her nose and mouth). She is then thrown on her bed, and the menace cuts her on the buttocks, then tears the skin off her face and she screams (we see it in detail for about 2 seconds). She is later seen with no skin on her bloody red, peeled off face, she is still alive and moving (graphic and disturbing). A young man is attacked by ghosts in his bedroom, and when a man and a woman menage to enter they found him terrorized with bloody cuts on his body. A man and a woman enter a young man's bedroom and find him shaking naked and bloody on the floor with deep cuts on his body. The woman is later seen smearing ointment on the cuts. A young man is attacked by ghosts (we see bloody cuts forming on his body as he screams). A young man is surrounded by hundreds of ghosts who keep him down and, one after another, write on his skin (we see them cutting his skin with pieces of glass as he screams). We see a young man on a table as ghosts keep writing on him (we see both the old bloody cuts and the new ones). A young man is locked in a mansion by a woman, who uses him to read and collect the ghosts' stories (they write them by cutting on his body), writing books and making money with such stories. We see him leaning on a wooden cross in front of the woman, completely covered with bloody cuts. A woman is sleeping in bed, when an invisible hand covers her mouth (we see the finger indentations on her cheeks), then makes her get up and walk to a window, where she sees a fountain that runs with blood while little children dance together in it (they are drenched in blood). A man kidnaps a young man in order to skin him and bring his skin to the collector who pays him for doing this. He asks the killer to do it quickly. The man slices his throat (not seen) and it is implied that the young man is skinned (not shown). We later see a woman opening the briefcase and holding the skin in her bare hands (disturbing). Lots of blood pours from a briefcase while a man is locked in the room; the blood continues to fill the room until the man drowns. Later we see his dead body. A man falls down the stairs and dies. In a flashback, we see a man being attacked by a ghost who hits him in the face. A woman speaks about a man who tortured and killed 7 young girls. One of them was found buried under a fountain. |
| profanity | Some uses of "Fuck" and "Shit". Other milder profanities are seldomly used as well, such as "Prick" and "Bastard". "Oh My God" and "Jesus Christ" are also heard. |
| alcohol | A scene is set in a pub. A woman drinks, and we also see people drinking in the background. A man and a woman drink Whisky or something alike. A woman drinks from a bottle of Whisky or something alike. A man drinks alcohol. A man says "I need to drink". A man talks to a woman and proposes to drink wine. A man looks inside a young man's bag and finds pills and says it is Aspirin. Later on a woman takes one of them, and discovers that they are not Aspirin pills, but capsules containing gun powder. |
| frightening | Some jump scenes and a few intense sequences. A room is flooded by blood and a man drowns in it. A young man is surrounded and cut by hundreds of ghosts. A woman is surrounded by dragonflies. Many ghosts are seen in parts of the movie. The whole film is set in a house haunted by ghosts who terrorize and/or kill its guests. Many of the violent scenes can be considered frightening by young people or those who do not like blood and gore. The ending is disturbing. Rated R for: Bloody Violence, Terror, Sexuality, Nudity, Language - Appropriate for ages 16 and up. |
