nudity | Full frontal female nudity in several scenes. Scenes of sexual torture. |
violence | Many scenes of torture and gore. The special effects are incredibly poor but the violence is still offensive. A woman's head is squeezed in a vice. A woman's hand is sawn off and her eyeball is pulled out. A woman has electrodes hooked to her nipples and she is electrocuted. A woman's butt is painted like a target and darts are thrown into her butt. Women's fingers and toes are cut off and used as poker chips. A woman is put in a guillotine and has to hold the rope holding up the blade in her teeth. Her bare butt is spanked with a bamboo cane and she screams, releasing the blade. Her head is chopped off and a midget uses the head to "please himself." A woman is strapped naked to a chair. A deranged dentist molests her (rubs her breasts and between her legs), slaps her across the face, pulls her teeth out with a pair of pliers, and then (offscreen) makes her give him oral pleasure. The dentist then shaves her head, drills into her skull and, with a straw, sucks her brains out and eats them. A man is killed by a group of cannibal girls kept in a cage who rip out his heart and eat it. A man is hit in the back of the head with a sledgehammer. Blood flies all over the place. A man's severed penis is made into a french bread sandwich. |
profanity | Not much bad language. |
alcohol | There is a normal amount of smoking and drinking. |
frightening | This controversial movie is filled with sadism, torture, degradation, etc. However, the cheap FX and campy, sometimes comical tone make the movie less shocking. The dentist scene, though, is very disturbing. The film as a whole is not for people easily offended -- only for those who like B-movie schlock and can take gore/torture. One of the most controversial films of all time. Recommended for adults only. |
