nudity | You see Cameron Diaz in her underwear for a few seconds, nothing much else besides a few provocative dance moves while two characters are in a club. |
violence | Some verbal threats are issued by one of the characters as well as some gunplay. The movie centers around a cleaning man that has been replaced by a robot, he gets angry and kidnaps his bosses daughter. There are some bloody gunshot wounds shown, in addition to other injuries. One cringeworthy scene involves a close up shot of a man driving a scalpel into another man's leg in order to remove a bullet. The man screams in pain, as blood gushes from his leg, the scene is played for laughs though. With the one exception noted above the violence is PG-13 level stuff. |
profanity | A few uses of the f-word as well as a dozen or so uses of the s-word. |
alcohol | Not much smoking and a few beers are drunk nothing extreme. |
frightening | Although you might think this movie would be a fast paced thriller it really isn't, it's a thoughtful story of a man trying to do the wrong thing but never really can. The violence can be intense and surprising at times, but the movie is ultimately a comedy. BBFC - (15): comic violence, strong language. |
